The Challenge

Managing a large and diverse catalog of over 100 premium products, each with multiple variations and finishes, posed a significant challenge. The system needed to be intuitive for both users browsing the site and staff managing the product updates. A standard WordPress solution wouldn’t suffice for the flexibility and organization required, so we had to build a custom platform to ensure easy product management and a seamless user experience.

The Solution

Collaborating with my creative director, we first crafted a brand identity that captures the simplicity and sophistication of LakeHouse Bath + Kitchen. The logo design and brand elements reflected the premium nature of their products and set the tone for the website.

Next, we focused on the product management system. We developed a custom solution in WordPress that allowed LakeHouse to easily add, edit, and organize products by brand, category, and finishes. This system was designed with the end-user in mind, ensuring it was intuitive for staff to maintain while being easy for customers to navigate. Product pages were structured to allow for detailed information while keeping the design clean and uncluttered. Calls-to-action throughout the site encourage users to visit the physical showroom.
